This is the Full DTM race held at the RB Ring. I watched the full thing last night before turning in. I got familiar with the track and when jumping on it after, I felt like I already been there

Very similar to when in the A1 Ring configuration, Red Bull rebuilt much of the track adding needed run off areas ect. Its much different to the original Österreichring. The original track was high speed hard pace the full track.

Funny that some complained about the addition of RB Ring at this time expressing the track would be useless for most car them being too slow for such a fast track blah blah blah, must not realize the serious difference in configuration from the old school Österreichring and the current RB Ring, heck it was massively changed in the A1 Ring configuration. That assessment may have been true close to 20 years ago, its far from correct today.

Hey Sin I didn't update yet, can you tell me if there is the old circuit too? Because som said that there are two in GT6.

There is the new layout & also the "Short Course" both are versions of the RB Ring, no other configuration are in game (so far)

Oh no, I really want the big version because I think X1s can go faster there.

The big version is in the game, at least the big version since the mid 90's (A1 Ring) The original track was changed many years ago. No doubt the X1 would be faster around the Original version, most corners were high speed sweepers momentum on the track was very high. The cars basically got too fast for the old track and so it was dramatically slowed down for safety.

While I'm unsure if this is still or fully planned but there were talks of extending the track from the A1/RB layout to use more of the old track obviously with a different layout, it would be longer, but we still won't see speed like on the original Österreichring .

I know that. I'm a F1 fan.

Any word if the extention has a green light still, or was the idea scrapped/tabled for the time being?
