Post: [1.04] How to get back online on destiny [BLES]
10-17-2014, 08:40 AM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi ALL,

I can see there are a lot of users that cannot get online after 1.04 patch, maybe we can unite and try to find a fix for this issue or if somebody found already a fix for it, maybe he can post it here.

I'm using H@bib CFW 4.65 and BLES version of Dest!ny, and game worked fine in until 1.04 release. Now i get "Problem reading content" when i try to play a mission or a pvp game, so I've decided to reapply the old 1.03 fix , delete gamedata and re-download the compatibility patch.. still no joy! The fix doesn't work for this nor does wiping everything and starting from scratch.

The game doesn't let you sign in into PSN if you didn't upgrade to version 1.04!!!

i get to the orbit as ordinary, but as i wanted to start a mission or a pvp, the error message popped up.
I've installed also the PSN version of the game and apply the .rap file provided on this awesome forum .. but still get same error "problem reading content. please restart game".

Is there anybody out there to share his wisdom and make this game playable again?

Thank you so much!

This issue gets fixed when u move Gamedata to external drive.
I dont know why, but then it works without any error "Problem reading game content".

I tried BLES and NPEB Version both get Error when Gamedata stays in internal HDD. Just move Gamedata to devusb000/GAMEI or devusb006/GAMEI and in multiMan activate "external Gamedata" for Destiny.
Then you are free to go. ENJOY Smile

What do you mean by "gamedata"?You mean move the 6Gb+ data that goes inside the internal right? The data that the game installs when it boots? So i install the game normally, then i exit the game, go to MM, and copy the data to devusb000/GAMEI, then activate the external data on MM?

Cool Man (aka Tustin) Stealth in PSN "PSN Patch"
a) If you have webMAN go to its settings and "Disable firmware version spoofing", then SAVE and PS3 2x restart.
b) Deactiviate in multiMAN-Settings (bottom of settings) the Firmware-Spoofing -> PS3 2x restart (if it was activated)
c) Check in Systemsetting, if your FW is actual one.
d) Start PSNPatch -> [Select] -> [TRIANGLE] -> [START] That will "spoof" your PS3 permanent from actual to 4.60.
e) IMPORTANT: Check in Systemsettings, if Spoofing worked. It should has changed to 4.60
f) Mount Destiny via "multiMAN" after you activated "EXT GAME DATA" and moved Gamedata to external HDD.
g) Press in XMB [L3] + [R3] + [R2]. You will hear 3 Beeps, then everything should be fine and CFW-Syscalls are disabled (until you shutdown and restart ps3), and all History-Files should get deleted.
h) Connect to PSN and start game or Start game and connect ingame.

Sorry for bad english, i translated from german

Yes

Use ftp client or multiMAN filemanager.
Go to /DEV_HDD0/game
Copy folder "bles01857" (is european Destiny)
to
dev_usb000/GAMEI or dev_usb006/GAMEI (belongs to which usbport u use for external hdd)
Then go to the gameslist in multiMAN, press square on destiny, go to game settings and activate "EXT GAME DATA"
Now start Destiny with multiMAN and you are free to go.
NOTE: You have to mount Destiny with multiMAN, because only multiMAN support external Gamedata. When you mount with webMAN it will load Gamedata from internal drive!
