Play the game more? Since when did you ever need glimmer and helium fragments/blooms/spin metal etc. to advance yourself in the game. I am level 26 and I rarely ever even use glimmer; most of the time I am receive it in bundles of 200 from the cryptarch at a time. If you had unlimited ammo and god mod, you could do the nightly strikes by yourself or even the vault of glass on level 28 and receive strange coins/exotic engrams. I mean if we could mod the game to this extent, glimmer, spin metal, and such would be worthless...

level 26 is nothing. If you actually wanna get to level 30 which i'm about to be you would know you need raid armor and to upgrade the raid armor to get you to light 30 it requires things like relic iron mainly, and glimmer for the first few.
