The end goal is to find / create a debug camera like the one found in GT PSP. It must be possible?

I'll take a look at switching to DEX when I get home tonight. Have you played around with these visual effects? The heat_effect seems to be for mirage and haze, would love to see these.

I've switched to Dex, I can connect with target manager, made my GT6 debug eboot with Farside's guide, but I'm not getting any process to attach to in the debugger?


Game won't load due to trophy registration error, I've deleted trophies from XMB but it still fails?

Man, I don't know how to fix this trophy thing. I've wiped out all trophy data from /home/ and rebuilt database

Debug eboot is in /game/BCES01893/USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN

I connect to target manager, load the executable from that location above ^

PS3 resets and loads GT6 which gives me this screen:

Did you try a fresh savegame yet?
If so, did I really get you right with - you're launching the eboot from within TM?
Why not on a more "traditional" way and use multiman?

When you are connected with TM and launch the game with multiman, you should be able to connect with the debugger shortly after the game starts. Just keep clicking on refresh (for the process list) in the debugger..

Yeah, I've tried a fresh save but still no go.

The game loads fine when launched with multiman, but I want to launch the TM way because of the .bmp image capture function.

Any ideas how to fix?

Launch the game then connect, don't use TM to launch.

Also the function export strings you posted are for the functions used in Photo Mode not race mode and I believe all of them are available to use without debugging under camera settings.

As for the camera movement, are you just looking for no clip for the camera? That would be easier than trying to mess with the limit data.

Would no clip in GT allow you to move around freely (fly over) to explore the circuit environments? If so, yes, that's what I desperately want. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.
