Judging by our hands-on with the game, Bad Company 2 certainly has potential to give Modern Warfare 2 a run for its money, but how many of you are planning on switching to Battlefield come March?

Do you believe they will do so? Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time, by gamers and critics alike. In the first 2 months of it being relesed, it became the fourth best selling game of all time. I, personally, think that EA are getting a bit too big headed to succeed. They are churning out new games and sequels to games in quick succession, and to be honest, I don'tthink that the standard of these games are good enough. They seem to be more focused on bringing out new titles and making money than actually refining their end product into something the consumer will eventually cherish as his favorite game. This may make the long lasting fan base for EA that some of us have had completely disappear. They're becoming Infinity Ward. Riding on the waves of previous success, and now that those waves are coming into the shore they're beginning to be revealed as a company that is too big for it's own good.
BFBC 2 will NEVER beat Modern Warfare 2 in sales volume. It is the next game in the series of a classic franchise of games. Long live the Call of Duty series!

I wouldn't say they make shit games ALL the time, it's just the majority of the time. And once they create a games franchise that sells really well from the start, they will start spitting out sequels to that game literally every 8-9 months. Look at EA's "skate." It was an incredible game. It was revolutionary for all extreme sport games because the way you played it made you really feel more like you were actually controlling what was happening in real life. However, since that was such a success straight from the bat, they decided to churn out "skate. 2". This game did not meet the standard that its predecessor set in many ways. They didn't even bother to come up with a new city. It stayed in San Vanelona. I have a feeling that we will see "skate. 4" before the end of 2010, maybe in the first couple of months of 2011.

Most EA Games in the past 5 years have been complete shit. They have a few games that are playable for a few hours and then *poof* they go just as quick as they came.
Highly doubt they will beat MW2 sales, I doubt they will even beat COD4 sales.

Do i think that BC2 will out sell MW2? most likely not, seeing how MW2 was a video game selling phenomenon. unfortunitely BC1 did make the best impression for a lot gamers especially those who played MW1 being that it had a lot of imperfections, and didn't make for best first impressions. However what any real gamer/ experienced gamer would realize is that BC1 was the first time using the frostbite game engine, a trial run if you will. Bc2 has so much improvement its outta control this game is going to be a sure hit. If MW2 players get their head out of their stubbern asses and realize what a real of a war simulation BC2 is compared to MW2 and try the game, it has chances to outsell. I cant stress how arcade MW2 is and how its pretty much the same game MW1 with the acception of more perks and different maps. Instead of calling in an airstrike within seconds on MW2 you actually get to do it yourself on BC2. BC2 takes not just skill but its very tactical and team orientated takes just as much knowledge as handeye cordnation. I strongly recommend people to try this game out and buy it for yourself for it is the funnest online game i have played since MW1 first came out. Do yourself a favor people, buy it.

There have been 5 previous titles before Modern warfare 2 came out, it's popularity with gamers has been growing since the first Call of Duty, about 5years ago. BBC2 has had only one and they think they will sell more than MW2? The BBC franchize hasn't been around long enough to even come close to MW2's success.
