The reason it is doing this is likely due to overheating issues, or the ground is on right for the power supply. Due to check for overheating issues turn on both of ur systems and see if the jailbroken one gets a lot hotter then the other... If not then open the ps3 see if on the powersupply the little green and yellow wire is bolted down. If it is probably a powersupply problem. You can buy a replacement for pretty cheap on ebay.

Might be overheating check if the fan is working also check if you have thermal paste on the CPU and GPU
