(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); hi well im a bit of a novice to this but iv flashed my consol with a e3 flasher and now want to convert from cex to dex. iv downgraded to 3.55 to get my eid_root_key and also got my nor flash. the problem I have is when I go into command window to convert my files from cex to dex I get a error saying the ERROR can not open eid_root_key ,
then lower down saying its wrong format. Iv checked and my eid_root_key is exactly 48 bytes and the usb is in fat 32 when transferin the data to my computer so don't see how the data could be corrupt while transferring ps3 to pc ? any idea ? thanks !!

Rename your original CEX dump to flashCEX.bin
Add .bin extension to eid_root_key.

Iv already done that. iv actually fixed it by doing the same process of a different computer. it then writed to new dex file perfect but thanks for trying to help
