I was looking for some information about how people are able to mod GTA Online with a jailbroken PS3 when the jailbreak I found says that we aren't allowed to log into PSN meaning we can't play PS3 games online.

I just wanted to know some more (a lot more) information about PS3 Game Hacking, like what does it mean when a MOD page asks if it's BLES 1.09 or BLUS, or what's CEX/DEX, and how can I play online on a jailbroken PS3.

I know it sounds stupid and all and probably has easy answers but I wasn't into PS3 as much as now, i'm a PC gamer. So if anyone knows quite of bit about PS3 jail breaking and GTA V Modding please let me know.
P.S: I'm not asking for someone to give me a MOD or to give me a jailbreak file (I have the latest 4.50 jailbreak files)

there is no 4.50 jailbreak so you can't mod any games unless gamesaves or Etc.

I believe I can't post links on this so I won't be able to forward the video, but there is a youtube video withe the 4.53 CFW that shows how to update the Multiman as well. IDK any of that stuff that's why i'm asking really.

Reason why I'm pushing this out is because the online GTA Online mod services require jailbroken PS3s to run the MOD programs (according to the modder who did my service). And According to PS3Hax and other hacking sites, you are unable to run PSN or any online/multiplayer game in a jalibroken PS3 or any PS3 without the latest firmware... In that case how can you play GTA Online if you have 3.55??? makes no sense right?

there is a 4.50/4.53 Custom Firmware but it has to be installed from 3.55 original firmware or 3.55 custom firmware

And what's the way to receive a custom 3.55 firmware, since i have the ultra slim simply downgrading won't work.

i guess you have to buy a 3.55 firmware ps3 from ebay for like around 250 USD if you get a slim which i recommend.

Wouldn't it be easier to force downgrade my PS3 to a 4.50 Firmware and use a 4.50 CFW DEX jail break with a stealth multiman?

nope you have to have a certain model ps3 to downgrade to 3.55 and super slim can't be downgraded to 3.55.

Just noticed, but since you know a bit of what I want, can I possibly just use the 4.53 CFW Files and download the 4.53 Multiman and use that as a CEX for mods?

nope like i said you must install 4.53 CFW such as Habib 4.53 CFW from 3.55 CFW or 3.55 OFW
