Make sure to run MinVerChk to make sure some CECH25XX can and cannot be
Date Code 1A : January, February, March / 2011 Sometimes 3.56, 3.60 3.55 or 3.56
So it is a possibility!!!!

well i highlighted CECH-2504b Data code: 1A and right clicked and did a search on google and it came up with some pages and showed the firmware was 3.56

I supposed that is a good way. But, nevertheless you cannot assume or be so certain with these models. The only way to be 100% sure is to use MinVerChk if he can or can't.
