It's not dumb to mod your ps3, just be careful on what you do

Modding it is not dumb. and depending on what you plan to do with it should determine if you want CEX or DEX. since alot of things are CEX compatible now, thats what i recommend, but you can do whatever. also if you have a 4.50OFW PS3, you can't jailbreak it unless you have it downgraded to 3.55OFW first. and you may not be able to do that depending on the model ps3 you have

I personally would do it if you have 2 ps3 if u play online alot because it will get banned. If your somewhat good with computer parts or opening electronics and you have a nor ps3 you could do it your self with an e3 flasher

Buy a few console Id's just encased yours gets banned. It's always better to have more than one ps3
