haha yeah never ask a sony reseller anything like that, first of all they have no idea, they won't even be able to tell you if it can be downgraded to 3.55.
but it is false, the risk comes when either using a hardware flasher or changing cfw, but if done by someone who knows how risk is minimal

The person did know about this, he's being doing it forever, and did tell me that it can be downgraded but xboxes are easier to Hack and that weren't a sony reseller either, they sell all sorts of items but I don't really know about 90% though.
