I recently got my 60gb FAT PS3 (CECHG) fixed, and they replaced the motherboard with a new one. Im not sure what type of motherboard it is. is there anyway i can tell what motherboard it is so i can figure out if i can downgrade and what to use? Well if they swapped out your motherboard with a brand new, then they only way to be certain what you currently have is to open up the PS3 and take a good look at what motherboard model you have.

You will notice on the left hand side COK-002. That is the motherboard model!
Once you know take a look at this chart to see if you have a NAND or NOR by searching under "MODEL"

Afterwards, look at the "FLASH" and that will tell you if you have definitely have a NOR or NAND
