You're not being very specific in stating what the problem is nor what you require help with. Your post itself says you put it in the enclosure after formatting it. Putting any drive into an enclosure is done to make it an external drive. If you want it in your computer itself you need to take it out of the enclosure before attempting to jam it into your computer. An enclosure hard drive case is not made to be put inside a computer. Your computer should have a hard drive caddy specifically for hard drives to be installed in. That's what the drive needs to go into if you intend to use it inside the computer. If you want it to be an external drive, leave it in the enclosure and hook up any power cord (if it has any) and hook it up through the usb or firewire connector to your computer and ensure it's working properly. Also if it had an error of some type and you formatted it, the best type of format to do is a full format. It takes longer but it erases the entire drive.
