So will ps3 be able to use (3.0)3tb hdd or (2.0/3.0)2tb hdd ? Or are they to big for external?

Can be any size but needs to be on fat32

Ok what about the speed 2.0 or 3.0?

The speed will only be 2.0. But it has to be in the right USB slot or it's like a 1.0

If you get a 2tb make sure it's compatible with 3.0 USB as well as 2.0
