(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My playstation starts up slow and I'm thinking because of this it's causing other problems like if I boot up my ps3 from my controller, the controller won't connect and neither will ccapi... I usually have to reinstall ccapi everytime I want to use it. Also if I want to play GTA V the update.rpf file needs to be replaced unless it will be stuck at a infinite loading screen. I don't know what's going on

Anyone have a solution that could solve all these problems?

Firmware: 4.50ita

Things I did before it went slow: I recently tried to mod platinum trophies which failed to work.
I installed BF4 and all dlc.
I don't know if either caused it but I deleted all the BF4 stuff I had installed on it then rebuilt the data and it still boots up slow

I had the same problem slow to start & very laggy on xmb.

Dose the hdd amber light stay on most of the time, pretty much on constantly??

If so then the hdd may be failing, get a copy of hard disc sentinel on your pc & use a sata dock to test out the hdd

Changed my hdd fixed the problem.

This is the hard disc sentinel result of my hdd that was causing slow lagging xmb

Hey sorry for the late reply, I did test my hdd and it is the problem. Is there a way to repair it without having to spend money on another one?
