I have one cex and a dex BOTH IPS HAVE BEEN THE SAME FOR OVER A YEAR so try again... idk what is wrong with your ps3 systems but the ip doesn't change if you go to custom then manual ip and input the ip settings into the ps3... AGAIN I HAVE 2 SYSTEMS AND BOTH HAVE NEVER CHANGED IPS UNLESS I CHANGE THEM... tO FURTHER THIS I DOWNGRADE PS3 SYSTEMS AND SET THEM UP FOR MY CLIENTS AND AGAIN THE IPS NEVER CHANGE WIRED OR WIRELESS...

Don't listen to any of them...the reason your ip is changing because when you sign out and another device is connected to your internet it takes the first available connection and say it takes 192.168.16.1 then your ps3 will take the next open connection perhaps 192.168.16.2 and so on it goes up to the limit of allowed users on the network
