also some tips for jailbreak since like 1 week after i get it ill get it jailbroken , i know about cex and dex
and that i have to be on 3.55 just saying i am not a total noob lol

bump.... so i bought a 80gb ps3 and that shit sounds like a fucking jet engine ....... it looks dirty as fuck too but that´s what u get for 100$ a good cleaning should be enough btw any more tips y it sounds like a jet engine?????

Open the PS3 and get rid of all the dust that might be in there. I mean get rid of all the DUST!!!
Another thing you wanna do is replace the old thermal paste.
Jet engine sound means that your PS3 is overheating.

Yes, all FATS are downgrade-able
Though, you might wanna look into what model number PS3.
Some FATS have NOR chips and some have NAND chips.
NOR and NAND chips use different hardware to downgrade
