So I keep getting signed out of PSN at the most random times, I felt like it was the router so I reset it yet it still signs me out, can anyone tell me why it keeps doing that?
It could be a connection issue with your ps3 and router I again used to have the same problem with random sign out events until I went into my router settings and enabled universal plug and play.(upnp) now if this isn't enabled by default you could try and go into your router settings and enable It. But this might not be the fix for everyone. For me I found that my ps3 stayed comnected to psn without it losing connection and signing me out. Another thing to fix this issue is to make sure that your router is the only one broadcasting on one channel. If you live in a town or a city where their are other people with internet around you most likely their internet is broadcasting on the same channel that your router is which if they overlap it can confuse devices and cause interface which signs you out .
So a recap
I had the Same issue so so I went into my router settings and:
1 enabled upnp
2 scanned other internet connections in my area to find out which channel had interface
3 I router was broadcasting on channel 11 and so was 3 other people's routers
4 so I switched to a free channel that no. Other router was broadcasting on ( in my case no router was on channel 2 so I changed my router to broadcast on channel 2)
This fixed the issue cause now my ps3 stays connected to my internet instead of getting confused by other routers..
So this might help you too. And if you don't know how to get into your router. Search your brand on Google to see how to access the settings.
