(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so i'm trying to find a large amount of broken playstation 3 consoles, weather it be YLOD, Bad RSX, faulty power supply, no blu ray etc, i've looked on ebay etc and they cost more to post/ship for most of them, i'm thinking about looking at the dump but i don't expect anything worth while and gumtree is mostly local pick up so that's hard since there always half a state away, anyone know a better way to find consoles for parts etc?

Well you should search around for "Broken ps3 lots" The lots part is like a bundle basically of a bunch of broken consoles.

Hm that's very very odd. Maybe it's just an Australian thing.

That's depends on the contacts you have, Ebay are just sellers, they want to make a profit. The best place to go and search is Gameshops, preferably ones that sell used PS3. You could also go to ones that repair them, however if you wish to buy you'll need to buy in huge bundles and keep in mind the huge bundles are ranging from CECH-A-G meaning they are the oldest consoles. If your intending on gathering CID(IDPS) you'll need a Progskeet or Teensy.

i know Smile i have been avoid A-G models cause i hate soldering but in order to do what i want i will have to start working on them anyway, basically my plan are to buy broken ps3's cheep and fix as many as i can, the ones i can't fix i'll use for cid providing the console works enough to solder the wire to force it on if needed and the nand/nor is not messed up, all ps3s i can fix i'll downgrade if downgradable and install fan mod or mods for as cheep as possible but still good enough to avoid ylod for fat models or a fan adjuster, and the ones i sell i'll sell from 40-100AU dollars with a 3 month warranty, if they ban it and they want a replacement i'll be sure to give them a banned console unless they pay for the cid lol, not doing cid sales though that way i have spare incase that happens them when i sell it after repair i'll be able to send then a usb with the cid to use on there. be fun keeping a log of that though, thing i might make a app for that or its going to be a head fuck to sort, well that's the idea though i don't pain to sell more than 20 cause i don't see the big deal in 2016 tbh, old gen, i'm better off collecting them and storing them for 50 years lol. Sorry for spelling i didn't bother fixing it
