Can’t trickshot me!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I upgraded my hdd, then i was stuck with 80gb with no use so i bought a case in hope i could use it for backups, I had to get a program to format it to fat32 as my laptop would only format it to ntfs or exfat, all looked ok when i got it to fat32 so i put my games on it and plugged it into my ps3 but with no luck as my ps3 wont recognize it so im stuck

That's not going to work. You should try ntfs :fout:

PS3 needs powered usb hdd for it to recognize it, usb unpowered passport type don't work

Buy one of You must login or register to view this content.

Then format the 80gb hdd to fat 32 on pc with sata dock

Make a folder called GAMES in caps on root of your old 80gb hdd

Put your games in GAMES folder, wak it in ps3 with ya new sata dock

Done, i got one & it works for sata 2.5 & the bigger 3.5's

If you got any old hard drives bangin about use them for PS3 games

I recommend using EaseUS Partition Master to format hdd's as windows is shit
