(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Could someone theoretically change the PS3 CPU or RSX chip if they could custom design the chip but have better click speeds? Not saying this is a good question or anything, but could it be possible if someone had the luxury of doing so?

Doubt it and don't think it'll ever happen, people aren't going to spend thousands conducting research... Also, consider people will actually have to change them. Note, the RSX/CPU are soldered as well.
