(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys I currently have my lag switch which is a button lag switch. Usually have it velcroed to the back of my controller but it's too bulky and uncomfortable. I want to make one or convert my current one into a foot pedal or some sort of foot switch that way I will always have my hands hands free. Any suggestions? Below are an example of the lag switch I have and some pictures of the ideas I have.

What kind of advice are you looking for?

I tried to find out what kind of button or switch on of those things uses, but idk. I did notice that it says the button on those extension cables turns it on and off though, so its probably one of those mode buttons (click on/click off), I forget what they're called..

So, I think it might need to be wired something like this:

I'm going to have to get a Ethernet hub then because I only have or modem which is also my router. So what I'm going to do is get a separate Ethernet cord split it in half then cut split the end of the extension where the sockets are and connect them to the orange wire of the Ethernet?

its ok just ignore the router then, just do it to the ethernet cable from your ps3 to your modem. Although, if you want to get real technical with it, if it were me I'd be worried about damage to the wifi board or the ethernet port on the ps3(from disabling and enabling an electrical connection..maybe), so it might actually be a good idea to do it at a router..
