Post: PSN Account ban = Smartphone Ban?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My PSN account got banned, two months ago and I can't use the PlayStation App anymore on my iPhone. I've tried deleting the app and installing it again.

It seems that every time I open the app, it remembers my device ID and automatically signs me into the account that I was on last. I know because when I've deleted the app before, and installed it again, it always signs in automatically without even asking for my password. (Might this be a security risk? What if I sold the phone to someone else who happens to also use PSN?)

Every time I click "Sign in" it does that, and shows me a message saying my account is banned. Since I can't actually get into the app so I can sign out, I can't really sign out now, can I?

UUIDFaker doesn't seem to help at all. My phone is jailbroken, so if anyone knows of a workaround that requires jailbreak, that's no problem. Latest iOS doesn't have a jailbreak, it's for that reason that I haven't tried a restore yet.

I'm not sure about the app, but I know for sure that if you're signed into the PSN site via your browser it'll automatically sign you in when you want to create a new one...

Actually, I just downloaded it again now and it let me sign in with a different account, the last time I tried it was over a month ago, so maybe you just need to not use the app for at least a month. (But it would be awesome to see if there's a workaround to this)
