like people are saying most likey the cord, i am forever breaking my hdmi cords, though on one of my ps3's it was the rsx going out started as green pixels then started geting static before it got to the point it just didn't display anything but i fixed that by replacing thermal paste inside rsx after i used flux and heat gun that fixed that, but in some causes it can't be fixed so hope it just the tv or the tv cords

No, by any chance has your console taken a fall or a drop. Since, I've seen this on consoles were the it has been dropped. You haven't dropped it at all. Other thing I can think of is a dying GPU. Type is dying GPU on a search engine and the same thing will appear. It'll show the same thing. I personally doubt it's the cable because in all honesty how any times are you going to unplug it switch it... If you've tried another cable and same effects, I would believe it's the GPU for sure. Either a reflow or a replacement could sort you out.
