Turn off the PS3.

Once it is off, hold the power button until you hear a beep and then another beep. After the second beep, let it go and then the PS3 display settings should reset.

If you haven't found your answer. Go to the PS4 Section > Question & Support > How To's With Hydrogen

There should be my thread to help you out with your HDMI Settings to reconfigure your screen output.

Resetting video settings would be used to fix a NO display.. He has display, just not desired pixels. You can change your video settings in the "video settings" option in the ps3's XMB.

5. On the XMB, go to the second column from the left, near the bottom and select "video settings"
6. Select "video output settings"
7. Follow prompt and select your desired settings.
