(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok i have a problem and hoping someone can help me i have a ps3 jb on rebug 4.75.3 dex but tryed 4.70 and same results after i install my Destiny and do all updates game works fine but as soon as i turn on a mic my ps3 restarts and go to a screen same there that the hard drive was corrupted but all i have to do is press teh home button and it restarts fine i am using turtle beaches 510 and ps4 and ps gold and beats bluetooth ones,likek i said as long as i dont turn on my mic the game runs fine

does and one know why?

oh and it only does it on destiny

That is odd! Borrow or try another known working headset and see if the problem continues.

the thing is i can get on rdr or gta or bo2 or bo3 and mic works fine just on destiny this happens

Come to think of it, the headset itself couldn't really cause such a thing without it being wired and having a severe short.. Your game could be currupt and when that connection is made, the corruption in the game is set and crashes...How long have you tested the game without trying to use the mic? Are you certain it is upon connection of the mic that this happens or would it happen anyways while playing destiny?

Try another eboot, fix, or a different copy of the game.

nothing is modded on destiny i like teh game to much to mod it but i was playing for 2 hours today and no problems but as soon as turned on my mic shut off on me im using a BLUS31181

Destiny has voice problems, I know with friends sometimes we can't hear each other but it works with other games. Randomly it will say "nat issues" and it just won't work that day. Also destiny says we're often behind nat 2, when in other games it says we're not, I don't know why that is either. My guess is that Destiny is using different ports than other games.

Check your connection settings you could give your ps3 a static ip from your router then put it in the dmz to see if that helps.

However: I am not sure how this would work with a jailbroken console if it is advisable to allow all ports to be open. Other members have told me Bungie is notorious for going after modders I don't know if by changing your settings you would be letting your guard down. I'm sure more experienced techs will chime in on this.

Review and change microphone settings which can help with this problem. Charge up the microphone if required to full, then apply changes in settings. Just a small bug, it the mentioned recommendation does not work, change rebug version to 4.70+
