If you can connect to the internet and still go online then it maybe working

A way you could test is try it on your ps3, and then go on web browser and go to "https://www.whatsmyip.org/" and see what IP address it shows,
Do the same to a PC or Another device that is not connected to proxy and if its different then it does indeed work

Ok so i have done more research, it turns out i can sign in, that is, until i start a game :/ what i completely missed is the process of hosting the proxy from my pc, perhaps this is why it doesnt work?

God dammit, yet another confusion, sorry guys. So, tell me if i have it right this time. Running a proxy server from your pc is pointless unless your pc is on a VPN, because otherwise it will give your pc's IP adress, still giving them access to your router? It took me a long time to get to this point, still dont know if i have it right. Sorry lads.
