I've resigned hundreds of saves before with no trouble at all, so I'm wondering if this game needs an extra step or something? Anyone have an idea?

Use the old PS3 Save Game Resigner 1.4. Dunno why Bruteforce and PS3 Save Game Resigner 2.0 didn't work.
