Site: [link removed]

Requirements:
- A PS3 (maybe and xtra one incase u **** up)
- Possibly a soldering tool
- Double sided USB

1. Expose the wires on one side of the USB
2. Open up your PS3 till you see the NAND
3. Connect the non-exposed wire to your PC
4. If possible, connect the wire to a part of the NAND. If not do this:
find which wire that is connected to the NAND, transfers data, or stores
cut a small split in the middle of that wire
connect the exposed USB wire to the middle of that NAND wire

The program will be able to read and write from the NAND.

The program will then receive the files and dump/write it to a folder. Of course, decryption will be harder.

What needs to be done:
- Write a driver so the PC can recognize it is connected to the NAND
- Dump the NAND into a folder on the PC
- Transfer files from the PC to the NAND

Then the things to can maybe do from this
- Put a older firmware on the PS3
- Etc...

How am I a eFame eWhore when this theory actually shows something? I haven't yet looked at the NAND in my PS3 but theoretically, it'll work. You just don't know how.

Who said I have done this anyway? I have another method I'm not sharing for a while. I'll be doing that method when I get my 2nd PS3. This method is for you guys. You have to find the right spot that stores the firmware, as I already mentioned in the theory, and connect the wires there. I don't know which spot exactly cause I haven't seen my NAND yet. Been to busy. Anyway, code a driver so the PC can recognize the NAND then get to hacking. Of course, you more and likely have to decrypt on that.

I understand you guys are tired of seeing fake stuff. I truly am too, really. You just have to be intelligent enough to know real from fake. If you have any knowledge in wiring, programming, lag switch making, light switch making, etc.. This should be kinda easy to you.

PsYcHoSiS, why does post count matter? Who said this was really JUST FOR downgrading. Who said this was bullshit?

It Teaches u how too make a cfw, but u need too decrypt the keys too make a 3.65 jailbreak which is hard too... This will only work for 3.55 or 3.41 cfw if u want too make your own and put more pakage files.

You obviously didn't read the post.
I said, BY NOT specifying, you would be an eWhore.
I didn't say you were one, until you didn't know specificly.

I'm sorry if you are legit.
But I am pissed off at all the newbies, register for like 1 month and they release a downgrade / jailbreak.
99% of the time it's fake.

And you need to know which pins on the nand that you can and cannot wire, or else you'll fry the whole thing.

Once I have confirmation it works, I might try it. But ATM this seems pretty new still.

I defeated!
You cant downgrade by rewriting the NAND/NOR any more it was patched in 1.9 i believe. The syscon checks to see if the flash has been modified nigthy night ps3 how ever it is useful for rewriting the same image to the nand but in that case you should just use an infectus for NAND flashing NOR you would have to use that pin out provided on the ps3 dev wiki

That was Infectus Mod 2 Chip. The way your program works determines if you can downgrade or not. Also your knowledge on the NAND.
