If sony patched it, and you still wanted to put it on your PS3 theres really no point because you wont be able to go online; but if thats what you want then yea you can still have it offline.

Gitbrew was talking on twitter about probably within a day or so the exploit is released it will be patched without a system update, can i take off my internet connection off of my ps3 to where it wont be automatically patched and i can download the exploit.

That would work, but chances are, they'll probably patch the problem, and note it where you cannot go online unless you update to the next firmware. And then, you'll be stuck waiting for someone to release a bypass, or some shit like that, but all in all, that will be patched within a week as well. :y: The question is this: Why are you wanting a CFW so badly?
