When a new game is backed up do you still need a modded file for the game to enable it to work on jail broken ps3/ or is there a backup manager which already does this? And I cannot find the original kmeaw cfw?

yeah, u need a modified .eboot file to put in the files of the game. this works on most 3.55 cfws. i don't know about 3.41 cfw

Where do you get the .eboot files from though?

Using Kmeaw's firmware, Multiman is the best option to back up your games. Depending on the game, you'll need to modify the PARAM.SFO. If it's a game strictly for firmware versions 3.55 or higher, then yeah, edit the PARAM.SFO. If it's just to play, there are a few places you can go to download the games. Either spend hours downloading invidiual files, or go rent the games from a movie store, back them up to your PS3, or use gamefly.com :y:
