Exactly what WinterMelvin said. Why not use a firmware spoofer on your jb ps3 to match your "online" ps3 firmware. Then transfer all of your stuff from your official ps3 to your jb ps3. Then you will always have it backed up on your jb ps3 to transfer to your official ps3.

Because then won't be able to play the dozens of psn games on my 3.55 ps3. There's no way I'm going to buy them or de-activate them. Which will happen if I transfer back to my 3.55.

You should be able to get the PSN games off of PS3ISO, however I'm not sure about DLC myself as that's something I've never bothered with.

You only data transfer it to your 3.55 PS3 for "backup" purposes. Then you data transfer your "backups" to your 3.70 PS3 and play it there. That way you won't have to go re-downloading it. Also, you don't have to worry about "Activation/Deactivation". If you are using the same PS3 then PSN allows 5 activations per week per console. (Assuming that it is the SAME PS3 CONSOLE that is being reactivated.) I should know, because I do it all the time for my MW2 patch/Map Packs, ALL MY PSN STORE DLC/GAMES, BO Map Packs, etc.

I hope that made sense. If your stuff is from game sharing then you're on your own. All of my DLC are bought by me so it works...

The content on my 3.55 will be permanently deactivated, I don't want that.
