Pre-Requirements before you start -

1: a Brain
2: Two PS3's
- PS3 on 3.41 (Jailbroken) or 3.55 (w/ CFW)
- PS3 on latest FW (3.60)
3: Transfer Cable

HOW TO HOST CL ON 1.12 [BYPASS]

FOR THIS TO WORK YOU MUST HAVE A 1.11 CL PATCH ALREAY ON YOUR PS
3
1) Delete As Much As You Can Off Your PS3 (Makes It Alot Quicker) (DO NOT DELETE THE MW2 PATCH)
2) Insert A USB Stick/Flash Drive Into The Ps3
3) Goto Settings>>System Settings>>Back Up Utility>>Back Up
4) Back Up Your Ps3
5) Put USB Into Computer
6) Drag PS3 Folder Into A Safe Place
7) On MW2 Install 1.12 Patch
(Optional) You May Want To Back This Up If You Want To Go On 1.12 Or You Can Just Install It

IF YOU WANT TO HOST CL AGAIN

1) Drag PS3 Folder Back Onto USB
2) Insert USB Stick/Flash Drive Into The PS3
3) Goto Setting>>System Settings>>Back Up Utility>>Restore
4) Select Your Device
5) Restore It
6) Bypass MW2 Using Elite Mossy's Patch Blocker
7) HOST MW2 CL AGAIN!!

HOW TO USE PATCH BLOCKER

1) Open It On Your PC
2) Take Note Of The Numbers (192.168.*.**)
3) Go On Your PS3
4) Goto Settings>>Network Settings>>Internet Connection Settings>>Wired/Wireless>>Custom
5) Keep Every Thing As It Is Until You Get To Proxy
6) Click Use
7) Type The Code From The Patch Blocker (192.168.*.**)
Save Connection Settings
9) Start Up MW2 Without Updating

TO REMOVE THE PROXY

1) Go On Your PS3
2) Goto Settings>>Network Settings>>Internet Connection Settings>>Wired/Wireless>>Custom
3) Keep Every Thing As It Is Until You Get To Proxy
4) Click Do Not Use
5) Save Connection Settings
NOW WITH 2 PS3s

1) Have a PS3 in a lower FW like 3.41 or 3.55(recommended for noobs) for 3.41 you need a JB tool btw

2) Get your modded patch on your lower FW ps3

3) If your lower FW ps3 mw2 patch its modded then your good

4) Go to System settings

5) Then go to data transfer settings

6)Follow the steps for data transfer

7)When your done your ps3 that its on 3.60 will have a modded patch for mw2

It should already be on your flash drive. Just don't worry about that step. It will create a new folder in your flash drive in the folder PS3 called BACKUP. You can open that folder with your computer and change the filename in that folder to whatever patch it is so you don't get confused.

Okay, so just plug my USB in and it will do that step for me?

Well in the previous steps you were supposed to move that PS3 folder in your flash drive onto your computer after you were all done to keep it safe and whatnot. You can just keep it there. If it's not there, it will make one.

or you could just delete the default mp.self and install a 1.11 patch as there alot better and you wont need patch blocker !!!!!!


noob steps for hosting

example mw2

delete all mw2 game data ect
insert mw2 download the newest patch on cfw ps3 start a game
quit game
have modified patch ready
launch filemanager
navigate to your disk code
example us blus30377 your code should be on the games case

for 1.11
hit select to go to advanced mode
navigate on the left side of filemanager to your usb

on the right side navigate to dev/hdd0
your disk code
usr directory
it will have a patch mp.ff there

go back to your usb side make sure your in advanced mode and copy the patch mp.ff over
delete the defaultmp.self and you wont need patch blocker or anything :y:

for 1.12
do everything the same but dont delete the self file and have a 1.12 patch


test in split screen
if all works follow the steps on data transfer :y: to transfer to ofw ps3

'Hosting'. On 1.12 there is really no 'hosting'. It's 'modding' the game. Bypass it, then you'll be considered to be hosting. But good luck on getting others to figure it out. I've found out that trying to get people to do about 3 easy steps, is pretty complicated.
