Ok so the other day i had an internal to external hardrive case becuase i have fked up so many laptops i need to recover my data and i was thinking what would happen if i connected my ps3 hardrive and so i did but the case was getting in the way so i removed the few screws and removed the case so thAt it will fit windows is recognizing it as a hardrive and i have been able to partition the drive so it recognises the partition however i am downloadig a linux bootble disk will post results soon let me know what you think maybe a pc to ps3 hardrive direct patch transfer will work let me no
Why don't you boot up in linux drive that was mounted on a usb, that way you don't need to partition the hardrive and you can access the files on the mounted linux os. I was thinking of doing something similar. I am happy to see that someone else thinks it can be done, but I am no professional.
