I have search a lot of threads and forums but I can’t seem to find an answer. I am not sure it can even be solved or not but here is my problem.


I have CFW PS3 Rebug 3.55.2 with latest 3.70 spoof patch.


In my PS3 I have 3 User accounts. Here is the details.

Saber Riders | 0000000006 | prod-qa, created during free DLC gold-rush, I know it does not work any more but I have not deleted the account.


All 100% of my current game saves and trophies are in [Thundercats]. My [Centurions] account is empty with no saves and trophies. I know that we can’t access PSN on CFW.


During my initial login of PSN account when PSN was available to CFW long time back, I accidentally keyed in JP PSN account instead of USA PSN. I have never synced any trophies before and I have never played online before.


I would like to know how can l CLEAR my PSN account details. So that I can login with the correct email if PSN is accessible in future but I know it is not going to happen anytime soon. At least a way to CLEAR my PSN account details without deleting the USER account. Is there a file in HDD that I can delete to CLEAR it? I am sure there must be a file in HDD that stores the login information, If not how does the it remembers it when ever we select sign-in. I tried looking inside 0000000004 and 0000000005, But I am not sure which file holds the PSN account details.

you cant delete one account without the user.

you have to delete the xregistry.sys to mantain the account and loose the details like username and password

BUT ALL THE ACCOUNT DETAILS WILL BE DELETED AND THE SETTINGS OF YOUR PS3 WIFI SETTINGS ETC ETC ETC you are warned. the trophies will be there, the trophies will not be deleted. BUT i can´t asure you if that trophies will sync when you update (if you are planning to)or when the CFW have again PSN....(it seems like never)

also there are a backup in

/dev_flash2/etc/backup.

delete ONLY the xregistry.sys BUT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE backed up one of this files OK.

you can try this and if this is not what you want just restore the file in both locations and everything will be the same.

BUt i recommend dont mess with FLash, just leave the accounts there. its not so bad

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I want to clear/erase username and password. In particular, only [Thundercats] and [Centurions] PSN Logins.

From your reply, I understand that I will loose all settings. Does it mean that I will loose all 3 User Acc.'s PSN Logins? Will it be possible to edit the xregistry.sys file just to clear PSN Logins for [Thundercats] and [Centurions].

Here is the current update!

I have manage to clear the PSN login details, User name and password. Great!

I used PS3 xRegistry .sys Editor to edit xRegistry.sys file.

Here is what I did.

I cleared the values associated with the following lines

[Thundercats]

/setting/user/00000004/npaccount/loginid
/setting/user/00000004/npaccount/password
/setting/user/00000004/npguest/country
/setting/user/00000004/npaccount/accountid // I did not clear the value, as I know that the All my 100% saves and trophies are associated with that ID and account and it would render them useless.


[Centurions]


/setting/user/00000005/npaccount/loginid
/setting/user/00000005/npaccount/password
/setting/user/00000005/npguest/country
/setting/user/00000005/npaccount/accountid // I cleared the value, now the Sign-In Icon change to Sign-Up. Great! Since I have no saves or trophies in this user, I could create a new acc when PSN is available [IF]


Now I have a new question. I don't know if any one of you have attempted it. Say IF PSN Works for CFW. If, I clear the value of /setting/user/00000004/npaccount/accountid [Of course I have backup the value in a text file.], I would have Sign-up icon for PSN. If I sign up for a new US account I am sure a new accountid ​will be generated for 00000004. My question is, can I replace the value with the OLD ID, so that My saves and trophies will work? And when games generate new saves they are generated with OLD ID.Please share your thoughts and advice.Thanks
