if yes , is there anyway to program my dongle to work like a progskeet ?
also how much do you think the solderless version is going to cost ?

i doubt it will be like a jailbreak dongle because it will most likely just be used to downgrade your firmware via the same process as the progskeet now so it will be a bit harder and i doubt you will be able to program an ordinary jailbreak dongle to do the same thing.

it will use clips instead of solders to attatch to the nand flash (i think), so it will require opening up your ps3 and attatching it...so nothing like a psjailbreak as that is an exploit to gain control of your ps3. progskeet simply works by reflashing to nand, and therefore is unpatchable and can work regardless of the state of your nand (can fix bricks Happy)

im pretty sure this is a forum where u ask questions and other users answer , it doesnt matter when you joined it matters whether u have knowledge or not. if u arent going to answer my question then really the only "noob" here is you as you dont even know the meaning of a forum

1. it wont be a jailbreak cuz sony hid the keys up their assholes and we carnt get them
2. no you will not be able to program a dongle/usb
3. downgrade to cfw
4. question answered

but wiv downgrade u need to know how to solder and i cant solder so thats out of the question , my ps3 is not only mine ( its my brothers and sisters too ) so i dont want to open it up cuz if i mess anything up im screwed

Wooaah. the Solderless is going to cost Atleast Over $100.
and its completely diffenet form a jailbreak dongle, the jailbreak dongle is, well a JAILBREAK dongle, its for ps3 that already can be capable of jailbreaking, but the progskeet is for downgrading, i would buy a new ps3
