Well you dont need to download anything. Heres the steps.

1. Once you have the right mw2 patch on your Jailbroken 3.55 Ps3, plug in and turn on your 3.70 Ps3 and connect an ethernet cable between them.

2. On your 3.55 Ps3 navigate on the XMB too Settings > System Settings > Data transfer utility, and highlight "Transfer data from this PS3 to the other PS3"

3. Switch screens to your 3.70 PS3 navigate on the XMB too Settings > System Settings > Data transfer utility, and select the option that says "Transfer data from the other PS3 to this PS3".

4. Switch screens once again and now its time to select "Transfer data from this PS3 to the other PS3" so press X.

5. For the last time switch screens to your 3.70 PS3 and confirm it to format. than it will format and transfer Data Smile

Hello, I was having the same problem as OP, however my ps3 doesn't let me data transfer to it! I try doing it from my CFW 3.55 Fatty to my newest firmware SLIM ps3; and it doesn't recognize it and won't data transfer, I have tried a bunch of stuff and the Ethernet cables work so it is not that.

However, I do have some accounts on my Fatty that I have not (and no longer CAN) deactivate on it, so I just click 'no' on it, idk if that has anything to do with it I was just throwing that in there.
Any Help?

No i have to click the No to the "warning" aswell. Ive personally never had this problem, BUT I have heard of people having a hard time getting the PS3's to reconize the Ethernet cable, You might wanna try rebooting the too of them and starting them back up with the ethernet cable already plugged into the two of them.

I also have tried that...Unplugged them both from power and then plugged in the Ethernet cable; then turned them on and it still didn't work. I have even tested just having my OFW Slim transfer to my CFW Fatty just to see if it would work, and it didn't recognize that either! -__-

If you're on Rebug CFW, make sure you didn't fiddle w/ the Rebug Selector. That causes a lot of problems which people tend to wrongly blame on the firmware itself.
