So i've got Kmeaw 3.55CFW on my ps3, got blackbox installed, got my IP address, but i'm falling at the last hurdle when trying to use to FileZilla to connect to the PS3. I always receive one of 2 errors from FileZilla which are 'Permission Denied' (Eacces) or could not connect to server (Econnrefused).

I am using the standard method below;
Host: 192.168....etc
Username: FTPD12345
Password: (I leave this blank as I believe it's not necessary to have one)
Port: 21

I have also used the Site Manager to restrict maximum file transfers to 1 and set the connection method to Active.

My firewalls are disabled so should allow FTP.

Please help, any advice would be appreciated!

Maybe you have to be admin on your computer
And make sure you are connected on the internet both ways ps3 and computer

I am already Connected to the internet on both sides, which is why I can ping my ps3, I am also the Admin on Computer and PS3

Try without username

Also already tried that. Unfortunately, FileZilla then decides to be a muppet and insert 'anonymous' as the default username. I have since seemingly made some progress using Gaia manager, but I'm not sure yet. Your input is appreciated though.

try a different desktop, or try using, openftp

Try OpenPS3FTP. From the sounds of the error messages the PS3 has a connection to your computer, it's just not cleared you for permission.

its your firewall settings on your computer. you need to disable the firewall that windows sets up automatically. its very simple... try that and let me know,

Is blackb0x open when you try to do it? Do not close out of blackb0x on the PS3.

i used to have the same promblem when my router was really far away from ps3 and laptop maybe thats ur promblem
