1. 2 PS3's. One on CFW, 3.41 or 3.55, and the second one on the newest (3.70)
2. Internet cable.

How To Host Challenge Lobbies!

1. Find a prefered patch and download it.
2. Rename it to patch_mp (patch_mp.ff) IF it's not already named it.
3. Enter FTP program on your CFW, PS3, and START it.
4. Go over to your computer, and open up Filezilla.
5. Now where it says HOST type the IP adress of your PS3. Could be something like: 192.168.1.12 or 192.168.0.10, or even something else. You'll find it easy, you can see it at the FTP screen on your PS3, or search google on how to find it.
6. Username and Password should be blank, but the PORT should be set to 21.
7. Now go ahead and press connect.
8. If you did it right, you will see alot of folders. Enter the one named "dev_hdd0", then go to "game" (lowercases), then find the MW2 game ID. All depends on your region, but it could be something like BLES00683.
9 Enter (MW2 FOLDER), then go to USDIR, then drag your patch from your computer over to that folder. When it says overwrite, press yes.
10. Exit both Filezilla and the FTP on your PS3, and go test the patch on split screen.
11. If it worked, then use Sony's official guide on how to data transfer! You must login or register to view this content.
12. Just transfer from 3.41/3.55 to your PS3 with the latest firmware, and you'll now have the ability to host challenge lobbies.
