As soon as I push it it says ethernet cable not connected and kicks me off m2w on the playstation network.

I found several threads saying put the switch between the modem and the router but I only have a router. I am on cable internet so the coaxial cable comes into the house goes into a router then an ethernet cable connects my ps tot rh router.

Coaxial > Router > Ethernet (lagswitch) > PS

Can anyone offer advice?

Ok so it started working randomly.

Do i have to be host for it to work? in mw2?

When i try I just lag myself and end up in a wall or something but when i host a private match it works great.

So having just answered my own question... how do i become host lol?

I have super speed 50mg internet so I often just end up as host but can i force it?>
