Just install CFW if you can atleast do that, easier than a calc. You don't need to spoof to data transfer, either.

Not exactly sure how the CFW is different, i've always used jailbreak dongles with 3.41 - never the CFW.

Yeah the jailbreak dongles were pretty much the only way before. Strange. I thought the 3.41 jailbroken system basically referred it to a Dev PS3, but Rebug turns it into one on 3.55. :confused:

Cfw and dongles made the same functions the only different is that you need to load the payload on 3.41 to play games

Spoofing is only required in order to access the PS store and online play, I believe, never needed to try it
~edit~ I believe I am wrong, spoofing is only to stop you from accidentally updating, I don't know, I don't use spoofers

You can data transfer with anything, you dont have to have CFW Winky Winky
