(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i got this ps3 that has YLOD for about 3 - 2 years and its CFW is like very very old andim wondering if can gets is fw and put it on my ps3 slim and upgrade to a 3.55 fw and jail break it

THNSK I HOPE IT WORKS CAUSE TRYED THE HAIR DRYER ON THE BACK AND NOPE DIDNT EVEN WORK.... SAD PART I HAVE mw2 STUCK IN THERE :(

hair dryer doesn't get anywhere near hot enough to fix ylod thats why you need to take it apart, ive fixed three with the same method as above

ok yea I tried it all it does is stay on a little bit longer that's all.
Also fck it ima take apart.... and last thing hour sign is awesome I love it dirty girl

i just took the ps3 fat apart and got the disc out

M8 i did this yload repair ,,,dont use heat gun to long burns the chips and also make sure you get the best heat compound. It didnt work for me so if you need any ps3 fat parts let me no if i have left will sell realy cheep ....good luck

so i did the repair i decided to use a hair drier and got it to stay on long enough to see what the FW is and its 2.60 so ima get a heat gun and fix it and update to 3.55 and and data transfer to my ps3 slim
