That has nothing to do with using 2 HDDs, it's most likely using some sort of modified NAND.

Ok to help every one from getting more confused. My question was are you able to host modded lobbies with the one ps3 that you used the e3 flasher on.

it seems that people think that if you switch hdds, you keep all your information (eg. custom patches) but just change your firmware? im no professional but doesnt swapping the hdd using the e3's dual boot function show all the data on the other hdd (because you removed the cfw hdd)? im not sure so dont flame me if im wrong
