Post: Did anybody go from 3.55 (was jailbroken) to 3.72 recently?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm planning on un-jailbreaking my ps3 and makin it normal again? Did anybody attempt this recently and were you banned or not? Thanks in advance.

you are good, just update to 3.72 via internet. Ive jailbroken 3 ps3s and updated 2 of them.

I did i did it a week ago. Went from CFW 3.55 back to OFW 3.55 then to 3.72, But i had to format the HDD to get onlione as it was giving me an eoor when clikcing sign to PSN

did you delete all the homebrew and psn cracked games? i really don't want to have to format my hdd.

Yea. Once you update to 3.72 and go to sign up for PSN if you get an error you will ahve to format the HDD to stop that error

I wouldn't do it I were you. 3.55 PS3s are just going to get more valuable. But yeah you should be fine, I did it before and regretted it.

^^Thats what happened to me, i think it was because we probably used the modified certificates (the one that let us online). So you should try replacing it with an original certificate and you should be fine Winky Winky Or to be sure, do a full format on 3.55 ofw, update to cfw, put what ever you want IE Patches etc. Then update back to 3.55 ofw, then go ahead update to 3.72

thanks. i'll replace the cert... totaly forgot about that. im thinking to update to 3.56 first and then update via internet.
just on a side note... i thought the certs were protected so they dont get whiped with the hard drive

Everything gets whiped, then everything is reinstalled (certs, icons, etc)
