The reason why im coming to you for ideas is because of this tool i found. Yes the tool has been out for quite some time but just now i decided to check it out.
OK the MWF Custom CFW Builder v.01 that was made i believe from Kakaroto (credit to him).
ok i was asking if i were to put a normal 3.72 OFW then did all the Blah blah things which i wont meantion and then save the OFW3.72 into a CFW 3.72 will it still work using the tool.
just a theory.

This won't work, I've tried this already it will just corrupt the pup unless u get 3.7x keys this isn't going to work.

ok im sorry if my question might bug you but im determine to find an exploit or anything for a ps3 3.73 CFW even if it takes up to 5 months i'll do it especially for the PS3 hacking scene which has done alot for me. Anyways back to the question what is the 3.7x key and also were could one find this such key.
and also do you believe that a 3.73 CFW has already being made but wont be released because of them being sued by sony.

The keys are what sign the packages, games, and fw and there isnt a specific place to find them but you would have to dump the lv0 or something but it would be somewhere inside the ps3's somewhat inaccesible areas, they arent exactly inaccesible but they are hard to get as geohot had to exploit the motherboard to dump the metldr keys which started the cfw era. No I don't believe One has been made yet just bc of various reasons.

awesome thank you so much i will look more into this and see the process i can make in due time again thank you. I will look around maybe even try to see has i have my own YLOD ps3 which is totally available for opening and see how all would operate together. Hopefully a CFW3.73 would be release if not then Oh well. Mean while i so far created my own CFW 3.55 but not from scratch just from a MWF Builder.

GL mate took everyone else a.k.a geohot 4 years probably could take that long again before we can do anything of real importance. GL though . And there is a large number of reasons this won't work but the big issue is with the keys.

really you believe it will take that long again. WoW by that time PS3 wont exist will have like PS2000 or whatever comes out lol. Ok so the keys is what supposibly does everything and if i were to even try does that mean i would have to solder. Wait to make all this work would i have to go deep into the ps3 software programming or i would have to manually **** with it (motherboard) such has soldering and stuff like that.

You have to find a way to decrypt Lv0 to access the 3.60+ keys...
