Post: Data transfer over internet?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I checked another thread saying its possible (over the same region obv) so me and my friend tryed and it didnt work through hamatchi. #1 is it possible and #2 how would we do it? (if it is possible)

Wtf, who told you it's possible?
It's not you need to have the 2 ps3s to data transfer and it can't be done through the internet..

It can be done, I've done it before but it's near impossible, both users need to have their internet connections that the PS3 is using in DMZ's, and have open NAT types, with no connection problems between both people, you basically need to set it up like both PS3's are directly connected to each other over the internet like they would with an ethernet cable plugged directly between them.

so we will both try DMZ and see if that works? (our nat types are always open)
