Sorry but you cant downgrade firmware u can get a 3.55 from ebay

to make it a bit clearer for you, when you buy a 'new ps3' it has a base firmware, this means that you cannot go below that fw, you can update in, then dgrade, but not beyond the 'base fw'

if you were to buy a new ps3, get old stock.....you can dgrade ANY FIRMWARE, but not put the original factory flashed.

if you buy from ebay etc, ask seller when he got the ps3.
