You'll have to jailbreak your old PS3, and then install a Firmware Spoofer for 4.00, so you can Data Transfer. Otherwise you cannot Data Transfer from lower firmwares to higher ones. Install this .pkg and follow the other instructions.

yea i'm on 3.55 geohot firmware. i put in the patches via CFM or some shit manager with the happy face lol. i'm trying to transfer the data with the spoofer. the spoofer is on and active but it wont transfer data. o_O

yea it says its active and installed. and reboot? umm naw lol. i have to turn it off and on? you got oovoo or skype? itll be faster way to chat with ya man. i appreciate it alot!
