I've got a PlayStation 3 and I've just updated to the latest 4.11 firmware. I really want to hack my PS3 and make it so I can host hacked lobbies and have mod menu's ingame when hosting. How do I do this so I have no chance of screwing my PS3 up. It's the White 320GB PS3.

Sorry to tell you this but you can't, as of now. Later when the new playstation comes out you'll probably be able to since Sony will not care about it and wont take anyone to court for modifying the ps3 software.

Actually a 3.56 cfw was released about 2 to 3 months ago.

Actually lvl 0 dumping is almost dycrypted by some ps3 devs so we can almost exspect to see a 4.10/4.11 cfw soon. The only problem is.. how long will it take before sony patches it?

Dude. There wont be another ps3 jailbreak for a very long time, probably never. Besides you need two ps3's to host CL's or any mod menus on ps3. And its practically impossible to downgrade unless you have an e3 flasher. Sorry
