Post: Very Important Question!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi NGU. I really need some help with my ps3. I got it stuck in 3.56 factory service mode a while back, so i sent it to some guy to fix it. He gave it back to me with an even worse problem, the Red Screen of Death. Now, i just have a question. If i bought an e3 nor flasher, could i get my ps3 out of RSoD and/or Factory/Service Mode? Thanks a lot, this means very much to me. +Rep for help!

I bought all my shit from modchipcentral only becuase they were a authorized dealer. Didn't want to get screwed over. I would definitely get the sata station for ease. Unless you have a cord laying around to hook hdd up to. As for the dual boot, you have to solder on the mobo for that. If you're just looking to host, do like I do and downgrade then load whatever you need and then update to newest fw to get online. Then reflash if you want to downgrade again

Does it load to a red screen and have a bunch of different writing in all languages? Even if it's bricked the e3 can save it. Mine rsod on a trying to flash to a bad dump and I managed to bring it back. Still works flawlessly and I downgrade it at least once a week

Okay, my guess is that when i sent it to the guy to remove fsm, he tried to update it. Now it turns on and says the previous update was cancelled and it tries to update. then it doesnt even get to 1 percent and it shows the red screen with different languages

If it were me, I'd already have got the flasher. It's cheaper than a new ps3. Just read up on using it so you don't do more damage to it than already is. It's really quite easy though. Hardest part is seating the chip right
